Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We are running a 'one design' stand-up-paddleboarding race series around the country. The title is the HOT Red One Design series, aka HOT ROD.
'One design' means everyone races on exactly the same equipment, which we supply.
Red is because the boards to be used are from Red Paddle Co.
Hopefully this should give enough themes and basis for a fun logo!
The race series is to be about fun, fairly light-hearted, low-pressure competition.
So the logo should definitely be fun. Doesn't need to be serious or corporate. Bold rather than subtle.
I will upload the logo for the Red Paddle Co brand, which will give the correct red colour that I think we probably should include.
Other than that, it doesn't particularly need to show paddleboarding, which could get a bit over complicated, although I will include some other paddleboarding logos to give some ideas. These are much too corporate, serious and boring though.
Paddles could be a useful inclusion in the logo, just to give it a bit of context.
Budget is limited, at this stage. It's not being done as a profit-making exercise! If it takes off though we'll come back to our chosen designer for something more ambitious next year.
Actualizaciones
A couple of angles that would seem to have
potential, would be to do something with the HOT aspect. Especially
as the product being used are the RED boards, so RED HOT gives another
avenue to explore.
And of course there is the whole HOT ROD thing anyway. While there''s no
obvious connection between cars and paddleboards, there''s definitely
the potential for some fun. Hot rod cars have flames, big fat rear ends,
all that sort of stuff... Maybe a board tweaked in similar fashion, cartoon style? As said in the brief, it doesn''t have to be particularly corporate, it should be fun.
If anyone thinks they can come up with something really cool along these
lines but needs a bit more time and budget then just let me know. This
is the first time I have used this service, I wasn''t sure where to
start.
