Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are a professional organization for the Staffing industry. Our current logo is dated and tired and we need something fresh, exciting, polished and memorable. We need to get away from the Texas flag (way too many organization's use the flag) and instead focus on the Texas colors (red, white, blue), maybe the Texas Star (lone star). We want a logo that will look sharp and smart on business cards, monogrammed apparel and our website.
The idea is for someone to see our logo and know who the logo is identifying (i.e. Golden Arches = McDonalds). Our current logo is uploaded. I have also attached a logo for Assurance. I like how their logo would allow the company to use their full name and image (triangle) or just the image of the triangle in order to get their message across.
