We've been getting a lot of corporate designs through. Unfortunately this is not what we are looking for. We would like our brand to be more approachable and for the look and feel to to be a bit more fun.
Also the best designs we have received so far have followed the "less is more" approach. Im hoping any news designs will take these aspects into account.

Background:

Kiahu is a Customer Experience Technology company. We equip business and technology teams with the frameworks, tools and services to help them create compelling experiences for their customers.

Our flagship product - Kiahu CX is an open-source customer experience application framework – it enables organisation to build highly differentiated business applications to deliver compelling experiences to your customers.

Kiahu CX is designed for innovators who understand that unlocking opportunity in today’s competitive marketplace is driven by delivering a better customer experience.

Task:

We are looking for a web design (we need PSD, no HTML/CSS) for our company site through which to launch our customer experience framework product. The site will be also used as a support site, so the functional aspect of the site is as important as the visual impact for sales.

In order to help us conceptualise ideas and content we have drafted a temporary website using a standard wordpress theme (please see details below). Now we have a general idea of our requirements we like we would like to take it to the next level and get some designs with that professional edge.

Our target market are Enterprise organisations - that is senior members of the business & technology teams (Business General Managers, CTO’s, CIO’s, and Senior Architects and Senior Developers). We want something clean & fresh which is DIFFERENT from the typical corporate technology websites out there. We would like to be seen as more approachable than most large technology companies.

Words we would like to use to describe the finished design:
• Clean (we’re thinking white background with one or two key colours)
• Fresh
• Light
• Modern
• Less is more
• Web 2.0
• Fun but professional (aimed at Enterprise/Large organisations)
• Bold, clear call to action – e.g. Live Demo & Download
• Readable (but Sans Serif)

As we’re a Customer Experience company, the usability of the site is critical. The site must be functional, intuitive & easy to navigate. We want to keep the number of user clicks to the bare minimum possible.

• Newsletter sign up
• Social media links – Facebook, LinkedIn (for starters)
• Rich footer links
