Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Ever wish that you could visit your doctor outside their office? On your own terms?

We need a logo design for a new health and wellness company based in Santa Monica, CA, called Remedy Hike. We organize eco-based activities (ie. hikes) that provide education surrounding the integrative approach to health and wellness. Customers sign up for hikes that include practitioners from all realms of integrative health, including integrative physicians, health coaches, yoga instructors, nutritionists, meditation and mindfulness experts, etc. Participants enjoy the great outdoors and are provided with "campfire" talks with integrative specialists.

At Remedy Hike, we are activating the community to redefine what health and wellness means by providing awareness, insight and education along with the expertise to enable individuals to realize their health goals… outside, back to nature.

I added some pictures that I have taken of the Santa Monica Mountains on recent hikes below. Most of the hike will likely take place in this mountain range.

Debes tener

• Logo should very easily lend itself to clothing (including tee shirts, hats, yoga pants) as well drawstring backpacks, yoga mats, etc as this will be a secondary income stream for Remedy Hike and important during initial marketing.
• Company will grow to include additional activities, therefore the logo should be easily adjustable to add these activities... for example, Remedy Paddle (for SUP), Remedy Pedal (for biking), Remedy Kayak, etc.

Agradable de tener

• Within the word "remedy" are the words "med" and "ed" (short for education) ... Remedy Hike is essentially a medical education activity. Therefore, highlighting that in the design could be a nice way to bring this aspect of the business out in the design.
• Preference tends to be for clean, simple, modern, trendy, flat designs with or without use of negative space. Not a must have, but an idea for a step in a direction.

No debería tener

• Soft "zen-like" features that are usually associated with spas or natural medicine.
