**Please note**----This NOT a logo or branding project - we are looking for a specific graphic that conveys our core competency areas. See attached as an example (a very poor quality one but gives you an idea as to what we're looking for!)

The graphic should help convey the core competency areas (see below) that can extend off branches on a tree (just our idea, we are open to your suggestions).

Our international development program (called AgReach) is developing a conceptual model that shows how we support development in agriculture and nutrition through providing what is called “extension services”. Extension is the input into a system (typically education/training or programming) that affects behavior change in people, therefore improving the way they do agriculture or approach nutrition. We also work on a series of cross-cutting areas that influence behavior change and agricultural and nutrition outcomes. More info on our website at www.agreach.illinois.edu .

We are seeking assistance in developing a design/graphic that is dynamic, symbolic, and powerful, but also shows the relationships between extension and our major impact areas (primary):

-Agriculture
- Nutrition

and our cross-cutting themes (secondary):

-Climate Change and Environment
-Gender
-Youth
-Policy and Governance
-Capacity Building
-Research and Learning
-Technology

We came up with the idea of a tree, whereby the roots would be extension providing uptake of nutrients for the development of branches, which would be our impact areas and cross-cutting themes. This is only one idea we had and haven’t been able to get a decent graphic design for it. We are also very open to other representations of these relationships. Please note that our website’s color scheme is red/orange, yet agriculture has a green/blue color scheme, when making design choices.Visit our website to get a feel for our brand and work. www.agreach.illinois.edu
