Resumen de Diseño de Camiseta

As Chinese characters are original from shapes and paintings thousands years ago, so this project is to transform the current traditional Chinese characters (not simplified Chinese) into modern design.

Now we're also looking for Designers who are interested in this brand. For this contest, I suggest if you are not familiar with Chinese, you can start to do more research related the history, evolution, meaning of the certain Chinese characters, you will find it's very interesting and good for transforming to any designs too.

The first step is that I need a good T-shirt design, please notice it's not just putting a "logo' on a "T-shirt", you need to think about from the whole concept of design with "Graphic Design + T-shirt". So it would be the interaction between 3 parties (Logo, T-shirt and consumer). For example, it there is a muscular man, so he may like to buy a T-shirt which is fit and soft material, so this T-shirt could be a "龍 / Dragon" or "虎 /Tiger" both indicates "strong" and "fierce" as well as this loge can be put on arm position. It would also represent like the idea of tattoo.

So I would like to say the traditional Chinese characters design may not be easy, but it would be very fun and meaningful. Ultimately, this brand concept would be applied on different language characters as well, I believe every character can be meant the profound culture with the whole country, so image everyone can wear or use those characters design on daily basis, IS THAT VERY COOL?!

Recap of this contest of traditional Chinese character T-shirt design:
1. Do more primary research related the history/meaning of Chinese characters
2. Create a design with interaction between design, T-shirt and coustomer.
3. Try to make it as a theme/style and fit for western market
4. if you are more familiar with meanings of Chinese, you can try to design for "a phase", such as "恭喜" which those characters mean "Congratulations", etc.
5. As traditional Chinese characters origninally look like already complex, so please make the design "Simple" but also can comprehensively represent the meanings.
