Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a new logo for a finswimming club in France based on Cherbourg (Normandy).

What is Finswimming? In short, it's a sport invented in Russia a few decades ago in which competitors use a monofin (one fin in which you put your two feet) and use a motion similar to a dolphin kick (like in butterfly style in swimming) to advance in water at speed sometimes twice as fast as even Michael Phelps could do on his best day. After speed what usually strikes people is the beauty and fluidity of the movement itself - refer to the videos below for examples. The same concept of flow is directly linked with the fact that this is a water sport and has deep ties with the element.

Notes:
1. a new discipline with bi-fins has been added to competition but the focus of the sport remains on the use of the monofin.
2. We have Surface events (using a frontal snorkel), apnea (50m) and "Scuba Diving" event where finwsimmer compete with an oxigen tank and swim completely immerged (see link below)

My parents manage this club and are trying to get a new logo, however the attempts I've seen are rather traditional, classical and old-fashioned (i.e. most if not all logos have a finswimmer in it, the club's name, maybe some water splashes...). We need something fresher that manages to convey the following.

Key things to communicate:
1. Monofin
2. Speed
3. Flowing, fluid movement
4. Water

The brief is as follow:
1. Need to include name of the club "Palme Sportive Cherbourg En Cotentin" in the logo
2. Preferred colorways are in the blues, but logo needs to work in monochromatic. Other suggestions welcome if supported by strong design intent
3. The presence of the monofin is mandatory however the way it is portrayed/depicted is not mandatory
