About the business

My business partner and I need a logo for our automotive consulting company. The company is based in Melbourne, Australia and is called CarAmor (pronounced car-ah-more).

Our operating model-

I sit down with clients and profile them to understand their needs and wants in a new vehicle. I then offer suggestions on cars that would suit their needs, lifestyle and budget, drawing on my expert knowledge of the car industry. Once we’ve narrowed down the options, I road test the vehicle(s) with the client explaining the nuances of each vehicle and finally negotiate the best price on behalf of the client.

Design brief

The name CarAmor is a play on words, combining the last names of the two business partners Lachlan Carpenter and Marcus Amor Smith as well as Car-Love (i.e. Amore, Latin word for love).

The logo must have a premium feel needs to include the business name ‘CarAmor’. We would like some options that include any of the following:

* Car references (steering wheel, tachometer)

* Car outline/silhouette of the name ‘CarAmor’

* A heart shape (for ‘Amor’)

Our preference is for navy/white or navy/silver but please feel free to play with the colours.
