We need a new logo for our brand 1717 OLIVE. The brand is carried in high end stores all over japan, the usa, and elsewhere. The look is outdoorsy, fashion forward, and athletic. We make knit and baseball hats, scarves, gloves, bags, belts, and wallets. We are okay using just 1717 or both numbers and word 1717 olive.

The logo will be used on patches to be applied to the product, hangtags, the website and more.

past designs have included an olive tree and a hand drawn image of a mountain that looked like a wood block print. We do NOT want to play up the idea of an actual olive. the color is okay, but please do not submit images of olives.
The name is derived from the street name olive st. but it has nothing to do with actual olives. we would prefer images of the outdoors, or athletic inspired outdoor lifestyle. also we do not want anything cartoon looking. Just letters or numbers is okay it does not have to be a design with an image of something.

We would like the logo to be fairly simple and not overly detailed so that it can be seen clearly on small labels and the details do not get lost.

The logo should speak to both men and women, ie unisex.

we have really liked submissions that do NOT use the word olive thus far. also logo driven rather than word driven. also contained logos that would make good patches on the product are great.

we sell mostly to 18-35 year old men and women. We are carried at stored like urban outfitters and opening ceremony, saks fifth avenue and more.
