This is certainly my kind of work; but I've barely established myself on DesignCrowd and I'm uncertain what's at play here, so it seems odd that (with a threadbare profile) I'd land a job...

Currently I'm just getting used to Freelancer.com's arrangements. There's a lot of fluff and farce to sift through, particularly 'article' jobs where it seems writers are paid (very) cheaply to re-write respectable newspaper's content to avoid litigation. I'm sure similar dynamics are at play with DesignCrowd - not to accuse you of anything - but I'd need a bit of dialog with you first before moving forward with anything.
