Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a logo for my practice at ancestralmedicine.org. I'm very clear below about almost everything that I'm looking for, it's the assemblage of the elements that win the bid. Anything that doesn't follow what I'm asking for, not interested....

I like the basic banner format of the logo at orphanwisdom.com, basically:
Ancestral [symbol here] Medicine and then the overall logo and also just the symbol in the center can be customized and shrunk for other settings as needed. The nature of my practice is spiritual teaching and ancestral healing, so I want the vibe to be old, classy, magical but also not too dramatic or overstated.

For the symbol in the center (between the words Ancestral and Medicine), I want to use the star of Inanna (easy to google, 8-pointed star), not the one bound by a circle, just the star. This version is my reference and some elements could be slightly modified from it: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/295267319294198683/ (see first attachment below, same image).

If you look also at antique old European compasses as drawn on old maps, something about that combined with the basic graphic of the star, and also reflected in font. Nothing too flowery or overstated for font (old world vibe but subtle) but some link between vibe of the symbol and the font. I think all caps for the two words, possibly with A and M slightly larger, not sure.

About color for the symbol I'm open to dark brown or reddish dark brown (earthy, old map)...but I'm also excited by the possibility of a more colorful old European mariner's/nautical compass look that includes dark blue (lapis lazuli in particular on the darker side) and likely darker/rich reds like something in this terrain: http://printoriginalart.com/rare-antique-maps/colorful-compass. If you can pull off the colorful central symbol and make the lapis lazuli color work, that's awesome!

For the central symbol, I do want to stay true to the basic design of the star of innana so it doesn't only look like a compass but ideally could also pass as a star of Innana. And I don't want the outer points of the star to have a circle around them (as is the case with compasses) but rather to be truer to the star of Innana design (link above or image file below).

• symbol that resembles the star of Innana between the words ancestral and medicine in the format described above. attempt to weave in some colors and design elements of European nautical compass arts (again, see above for details)

Agradable de tener

• bonus for ability to actually pull of the color scheme of old European compass art (i think it's the dark blue, red, and yellow combo in particular) combined with star of Innana without the whole design getting too crazy or overstated or out of hand

No debería tener

• nothing cartoony, dramatic, flashy. anything that doesn't show that you've read what i'm asking for is wasting everyone's time. thanks all.
