Resumen de Diseño de Camiseta

NOTE, DESIGN MODIFICATION: I had said no neon colors in my initial brief. That is probably a poor restraint, so please feel free to use whatever colors you want, we can always delete or modify if needed.

I need a t-shirt design for an auto racing event. This event is called the Big Bend Open Road Race (www.bborr.com), and is an annual sanctioned open highway race held in West Texas in the Big Bend area. Racers use their individual cars but align as teams for scoring purposes. Our team is Team Cobra and primarily runs the vintage Shelby 427 S/C Cobra or other Ford Mustangs. The design will be printed on the back of a black shirt and will also need a smaller. more simple companion front breast logo.

I am attaching some design themes for starting ideas. While we are focused on the Shelby Cobra, I do not necessarily have to have the entire Cobra car as the focus of the design. Some guidance/ideas:

- If we do use the car shape, it needs to be based on the body shape of the "427 S/C Cobra"

- The Shelby Cobra snake logo could possibly be incorporated (attached). The Big Bend skyline could be also used, as could wildlife elements such as scorpions, road runner (birds), javelina, cactus etc. Neither the body shape nor the logo are copyrighted so we can use either.

- The design could also use the US Highway 285 road sign as that is where the race takes place. Maybe we could use the Highway 285 sign or some treatment with the skull or javelina and "BBORR 2017" incorporated together as the smaller front side breast logo.

- This race is a bit of Wild West culture, fast cars, rustic remote setting, lots of risk running at very high speed. So the design needs to convey a kick-ass renegade theme if possible. No matter the design, I want a vintage, western look, not a modern or contemporary art look. Possibly the "Dias de los Muertas, Day of the Dead" skull could be used as a theme basis. The Viva Terlingua moniker is a common art and design theme for the Big Bend area.

- The primary text to incorporate is "Big Bend Open Road Race 2017" or "BBORR 2017", as well as "Team Cobra." If we have room for a slogan that would be good but not required. If we use the Viva theme, we could use "Viva BBORR!!!!" instead.

- Google Big Bend, Terlingua, Viva Terlingua, etc for geographical insights.

- Primary colors should be beiges, orange, blues, red. More colors can be used if the Viva theme is used.
