Just to be clear we want the 3 column look like the classic black theme I linked. We are just trying to modernize it a little.

Okay, it appears that my description is not yet clear enough. We want to take this theme here - Classic Black: [Non image link removed]
Take that theme and keep it the 3 column classic / simple layout but modernize it a bit. I am not looking for a new design or layout. I am just looking to keep that classic look but make it look more modern. Many of our clients still use that older theme and they like the simplicity. I hope this is clearer since all designs submitted so far are new and different then that design. Feel free to add things to spruce it up but the design must be able to convert to fluid like the current and responsive. I am not sure how else to explain it.
