Resumen de Diseño de Logo

Skipstone Academy in Griffin, GA is looking for a new logo for rebranding our school and its sports teams. We currently use a simple Indian head on some of our materials but we are looking for something new. The idea behind the name Skipstone is "if you want to teach someone to skip a stone, you don't give them a book, you take them to a lake, show them how to pick the right kind of stone, and demonstrate how to do it". We are thinking about something that is very simple perhaps along the lines of a stone, a ripple in the water, a silhouette of someone skipping a stone, etc.. It MUST BE SIMPLE. We need to be able to easily use this as an eps file for simple signs and banners using both full color printing and traditional cut vinyl. Our colors are black and yellow (sometimes called athletic gold). We have also recently started using some silver/metallic in some of our sports uniforms. You can see our outdated and varied versions on our website at www.skipstoneadventures.com or by finding us on facebook "skipstone acad"and seeing some team sports pics and such. We currently use "an adventure in innovative education" as our tag line. We use the word SKIPSTONE on all logos and have used "boulder" as the font consistently. We also do camps and other adventure related things separate from the school so we are open to varied ideas that include SKIPSTONE. We like the silhouette look of the attached file from an album cover we found online
