Create a logo design for use on letterhead, powerpoint and website
The task is to design the logo for a new customer insights company called Blacklight Ltd. Blacklight focuses on truly understanding customer needs and translating these for clients into valuable customer experience and marketing strategies. The focus is on actionable insights. Core to the offering will be market research, supplemented with marketing strategy and market intelligence.
Based in New Zealand, the market is cluttered in this space, thus the design needs to be bold, and not afraid to stand out from others. It also needs to be pragmatic – to be able to lend itself across web, powerpoint/ word etc, and well as being practical and cost effective when having to be printed.
The name Blacklight refers to the light used by CSI professionals to uncover things not seen by the naked eye. Hence the insights work the company undertakes would be uncovering new customer insights for clients.

• Portay the essence behind the meaning of the name, ideally be a little cheeky and irreverent - but not too much! Be bold - stand out from the crowd. Practical to use design that can work in black and white or colour. You show me what's possible! :)

• Different options for letterhead versus powerpoint. Have attached a famous NZ painting which captures the feeling - but of course is copyright!
