Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I'd like a clean and simple logo for my dog walking/ pet sitting business. We promote kind, patient and professional care.
Original colors are orange and purple- i think i want to tone them down a bit- i think these two colors are what I'm thinking- #9a8ca7 and #e39130? . I've use a very dark purple and orange and that worked well also- i'm okay with the colors as long as they look professional/modern vs elementary/childlike. I'm open to new color combinations but I want to stick with two.
I included a picture of a dog and a girl. One designer drew this (with a cat next to the dog) and I was really drawn to it. While getting it revised to have the girl look more like a woman, it just never got there. If someone can draw this so it's really clear, simple and a great image when standing alone, I'd love to see it.

I also saw an image of a paw in hand that had potential but i felt it looked strange standing alone. Again, if someone cold draw just the right image of this I'd like to see it.
My tagline is "their paws are in good hands" so I'd love to find a good image of a paw being held in a human hand. I've see two and they're close but not quite it. .
I don't think I want any hearts in the logo and I like pawprints that look more realistic if they're used.
I've included a friend's logo that I think is great. simple. good image. cool font. each element can be used separately and look good standing alone. I don't want hers copied (she's a local business in my town) but I like the simplicity and idea of it.

I'm not going to lie, I'm picky and I want something to wow me- there are a lot of weird pet logos out there and I don't want to be one of those. Thanks for your interest and help!!
