Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo design for a new commercial real estate and development company. The company's name will be Joust Commercial Real Estate and Development. The name Joust comes from The two founders Joe and Steven Utley. (first two of each name and the first letter of last name) We would like some sort of emphasis on the U in the name. Also, the definition of Joust - to compete, especially for power or control; to compete for superiority. The company will have private investors so it wil need to communicate, strong investment / safe investment / growth, etc... I am open to colors but would think the colors should be silver, gold, black, but I am not a designer. I am not a midieval type person but from the name I wouldn't mind some type of shield or knight touch added, but I am open to anything.
The logo doesn't have to say Real Estate & Development as long as it is understood what Joust does without it.
