Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The business:
We need a logo design for a new business called North Coast Living based on the northern Gold Coast QLD. Initially we'll launch an online store selling coastal style homewares, furniture and accessories. We also plan to open a bricks and mortar store when a suitable location is available.

The customer message:
We want the feeling of our store to convey to our customers a sophisticated yet relaxed, breezy, resort lifestyle that they can recreate at home with our products. The design style is a mix of Coastal / Hamptons with a distinctive Australian influence. When our customers enter the store we want them to immediately step into a sanctuary of calm surrounded by harmonious colours and fragrance. Obviously our online store will need to sell this concept visually and our logo will be on the front door so to speak.
We want our logo to present us as professional, sophisticated and stylish and strongly convey to our customers the quality and ambience they'll experience when they become a North Coast Living customer.

The products:
Will be good quality, mid-price range and will include lamps, lanterns, cushions, baskets, candles, mirrors, prints, shells and some furniture mainly timber & rattan (raw, recycled, painted white etc)

The logo style:
Must include: North Coast Living or NCL. We are thinking probably a Wordmark, Lettermark or Emblem logo. The emblem could be a palm leaf, seashell, piece of coral for example or a made up icon that conveys our message. It's likely North Coast Living will be abbreviated to North Coast by customers and suppliers so don't mind if the word "Living" is less prominent than North Coast. Sorry that's so broad but need inspiration from you creatives please. We'll know it when we see it :)

The colours:
We envisage the logo will incorporate either blue, green, grey, beige and white. Colours of the sea and tropical colours. So basically a single colour or two colour logo please. Can you please provide the PMS colours used.

Technical:
We don't have any specific technical requests. As this is the first time we've worked directly with a designer we'll need you to interpret our novice requests please. The logo will initially be used on our website (which we haven't started building yet) and social media. Also on email and presentation documents for suppliers, bank manager etc.

In the absence of a mood board I have attached several photos depicting the type of products we'll be including in our store.

• It cannot be a round blue logo with white text. An existing business on the Gold Coast (in the same market) has that style of logo and we don't want to be confused with them at any stage.
