Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a symbol-font-logo for a church / team web application called "ChurchCurator". Right now it's getting available and a first version is online made with bootstrap and bootflat. You can have a look at church-curator.com. Don't let the "undesigned" front page bring you into the wrong direction. The final look and feel of the product will be more comic style, as we use rawshorts.com (see https://www.rawshorts.com/) and plan to put more comic-characters on the front page. Nevertheless i'm unsure if the font part of the logo "ChurchCurator" should be more elegant (like DesignCrowd) or more handwritten (Virgin interactive, RayBan, etc..). I'm really looking forward for ideas on the "symbol" part of the logo. It should be "compact" so it can be used for an app or wherever a squared place prevents the use of the full logo. Right now i abused FontAwesomes "univerity" icon, but i'm open to any cool iconization for team, collaboration, people, church,... cogs? maybe too technical.. whatever. if you use multiple colors: i'd like to stay with these color swatches: http://bootflat.github.io/documentation.html (Whereas the "dark aqua" thing will be the pages / products primary color)

After completing the logo, i'm keen on your thoughts on how to develop the products front page (I've just seen the design crowd option to ask for a start page as well). The products focus is in fact threefold, as it adresses three distinct stakeholders: "church office / pastors / administration" - people who update and work with members data records. the second group is about "teams and team leaders" working collaboratively together (chat, filepool, communication). and the last target group is the church members who are able to log in, download files, access adress data of other church members or see calendar / event informations. I'd like to stick with Bootstrap / Bootflat behind the scenes and i love the blue mentioned before. But im unsure on how to evelove the landing pages....
