hey mate, quite an interesting contest this.
I'd like to know though, about the width of the thread and things like that,... I mean I think that would be important, right?..
Width of the thread itself, being as it may, there must be a limit on the number of colours, yea?

Also, an 8cm * 11 cm piece seems quite large for embroidery,.... is it really going to be that large??

Dont think about the thread. A program will take care of that.
Also, you don't have to think about the number of colours, bu as we we are working on a rather small area, it is better to keep number of colours low.
Talked to the factory. Thay agree that are maybe a little big. They suggest W 75 mm x H 45 mm.
