Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I attached an image of our original logo. The center symbol (the circle with the squiggly line) is called quinta essentia, or fifth element, representing in philosophy the element separate from earth, air, wind and fire that makes up the celestial bodies. It represents the most perfect embodiment of a thing; the pure and concentrated essence of something. The word "quintessential" comes from this idea.

We believe we represent the pure, perfect essence of what a martial arts school should embody. We teach the pure martial art without any gimmicks, and we teach people to train without ego. Many martial arts schools either teach their students impractical techniques or push a "tough guy" attitude. We just want to train, have good conversation, and chill.

Instead of a rough "barbed wire, skull and cross bones, flames, and dragons" look, we want something simplistic, sleek, and modern. It would be awesome to have a logo and a wordmark that could work by themselves and together as a unit. We're also open to color suggestions. Red and black are kind of our colors, but an accent of gold, blue or whatever you think would look nice would be fine. We're not necessarily sure if we want the slogan or not, so you decide!

• Clean, modern design. Incorporate the quinta essentia symbol, but not the triangles surrounding it. It would be great to see your takes on the symbol.

• The slogan doesn't need to be in there. It's just something we would like to try out.

• A cartoony feel. The file attached of the red and black logo feels a little too immature and busy.
