Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company based in Madrid called Chiaroscuro. We offer studio portraits to customers interested in top-notch portraits of themselves or their loved ones. We are inspired in the Hollywood portraits of the 40's and 50's and we offer black and white portraits after a professional studio session in which traditional continuous light is used. Professional make up and hair dressing is also part of the package.
The main purpose of the logo is twofold: 1) it will be used as a signature on each portrait (digital and print copies), and 2) it will go on the website and other marketing collateral.
We would like to see simple and classy designs that communicate beauty, elegance, glamour, and luxury. We are not thinking of images, our idea is just to play with letters.
The logo should have a version in black (for white or light background) and also a version in white (for black and dark background). Two versions are needed: 1) Just the word "chiaroscuro" 2) "Chiaroscuro" as the title, and "Retrato de Estudio" as the subtitle.
We tend to like capital letters, and initially we are thinking in just black and white, with no other colors.
Please note that there are other brands in different countries with that name (a restaurant in San Francisco, a musical quartet, an apparel company, etc.). The logo should be entirely different from these.

Upper middle class who are willing to spend a few hundred dollars in a good portrait. People conscious of their appearance. People who appreciate art and beauty. The majority of people interested will be women.

• Please note that the word chiaroscuro is a combination of two words: chiaro and oscuro, so differentiating both parts is an option (ej. ChiarOscuro). Another option with be all in capital letters, and the C and the first O, larger.
