Hi all... thanks for the submissions coming in. A point to consider please...
Whilst there is currently a logo on the test website and shown on the video, replicating it in one form or another is not necessarily what I am looking for. I have come to DesignCrowd to think ourside the box and come up with something truly unique, eye catching and enticing. Something that capture the spirit of a social entrepreneur and their drive to get up and have a go at something new.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I'd like to see if something else can be submitted that's professional, creative, innovative yet simple. There a few really nice submissions that whilst I like them i don't feel they really hit the mark just yet. Ok. So we have put out the call again. Any new designers please do not get fixated on leaves. An issue has been that when I have shown existing designs (less 2), people have felt they came across as amateurish.

For some further description:

Must be inspiring and advocate action, outcomes and personal fulfillment. Not to be too wofty but, the unfolding of an individuals sense of place and purpose within a community.

Regarding the market A 'social' entrepreneur (being different from a normal entrepreneur) could be consider the result of removing outdated barriers between the operating agendas of a corporate 'vs' a not for profit, to create genuinely sustainable social enterprises. If you take the drive, structure and market intelligence of a business manager and get them to feel the motivation and heartfelt connection of a not for profit social or environmental organisation... you have a social entrepreneur.

The wording must always be presented as 'uBegin' ... with a lower case 'u'
I am a fan of the Steve Jobs design principles... less is more.
