Resumen de Diseño de Logo
VERB is a new social networking site based in Sydney, Australia. The site functions similar to other social networks like Facebook but with a focus on active, intellectual, "on the go' people.
Whereas on Facebook people often post everything, including mundane, everyday things, on VERB we encourage people to "Post Your Passion". Things that you really care about. If you think of Facebook as a big box store like Walmart or Target, where everything is all over the place, VERB is more like a mall full of boutiques, where you see only the things that you really want to see. VERB is a place to get inspired, to inspire others and to share thoughts and ideas that people get excited about. VERB in speech means action [be, run, conceive] and our target focus is on active people who might wake up in the morning and go surfing, before heading to a job they love and then off to an evening out with friends. It's a fun, stimulating environment where users can join groups that they relate to: like various sports, music, arts, travel, technology, health, etc.
VERB is looking for a Logo + a set of social buttons that can be used as social share links, similar to other social share buttons, like facebook, twitter, vimeo, etc. We would like a stand alone logo, a logo that also incorporates our url VERB.me as well as something that incorporates "Post Your Passion". We are partial to the color Green but open to other colors and shades.
Actualizaciones
Please think about including some sort of "action" in the logo. Verb is the part of speech that describes an action (run, move, jump, express) and so some subtle movement would probably help to create some cohesiveness between the logo and the text. Also, as our social network appeals to an active user who enjoys an outdoor lifestyle, green would probably be a good color choice, although we are open to other colors as well.

To all the wonderful designers who have submitted a design for our social network, VERB, we wanted to give you a quick update. Over the last week, we've been conducting market research with a number of designs that we think could be a good fit. We've received lots of feedback, with numerous designs all being in contention. Needless to say, the decision on which design to choose will not be an easy one. However, we will be making a decision within the next 24hrs. Although we can only choose 1 design, we really appreciate all of you for taking the time to consider, create and submit your designs. All the best.
