Hi! We're looking for an Icon type logo. Just the word Samza is unlikely to work for us.

We have created a poll to get some feedback from the open source community. I'll update as soon as I get information back.

I would like to remind people we are not looking for Wordmarks. We don't want just Samza written in a different font. We need something iconic.

It would be a bonus if the logo is something that can be easily drawn on a whiteboard. If I was explaining to somebody else some system, and had to draw multiple things on the whiteboard, and wanted some square to represent a samza system, that I could draw something in there that would immediately tell people it is a Samza node.

We are leaning towards red color.
