Resumen de Diseño Web
We need a design for the main home page of our company 'Verona Stockings'. Out company sells stockings for women in Australia and this will be an online shopping site.
I have mocked up an example showing the type of layout and text that is required:

The design should have the same menu and text as shown in the example. A slider will be positioned in the middle of the page promoting certain styles.
The page currently has a width of 800px.
What I am looking for is some genuine design flare. Good use of fonts, stylish menu and interesting background. Also please note, this is the will be the home page so please keep text to a minimum.

Update: I would like a banner picture at the top with the logo and title overlaid. Also some areas where I could advertise specials and 1 day delivery in the Metro area.
Only one page is required to be designed. No coding of links, slider etc is needed.
The deliverable will be one photoshop project file.
Actualizaciones
So far the designs submitted have not been very creative. I am not interested in a plain design where you have just copy and pasted the pictures I have supplied and changed the background colour - I could do this myself in Photoshop. What I am looking for is some genuine design flare. Good use of fonts, stylish menu and interesting background.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: I have extended the deadline in order for designers to submit their new designs for the following update to the brief:
I have decided a banner picture at the top with the logo and title overlaid would look great. Also can I have some areas on the page where I could advertise specials and 1 day delivery in the Metro area.
