so what kind of items would you want to see in your logo

Jessica James,  I can only seem to think of what I don''t want in my logo!  Sorry, I guess I am looking for a new spin on the alternative healthcare image.  It is a field that is becoming much more popular in peoples health care regime, thus I would like my logo to be more modern, with less of a "hippy" feel.  I hope this helps some!
