We need a logo design for a new nonprofit based in Metro Denver, called B:CIVIC, that is evolving from www.twopercentclub.org. B:CIVIC stands for "Businesses Committed to Investing and Volunteering in the Community."

The mission of B:CIVIC is to promote, recognize, and advance effective business/corporate social responsibility (CSR) and charitable giving to address critical local needs in Metro Denver. There are four focus areas and goals for B:CIVIC.
1. Recognition and Promotion
- Raise the visibility of the positive, collective impact of the Metro Denver business community on critical local issues
- Acknowledge outstanding service to the community provided by individual companies
- Assist member companies in leveraging their community involvement for a marketplace advantage
- Inspire more companies to step up and be engaged with nonprofits and community organizations in Metro Denver

2. Education and Resources
- Inspire business leaders to be (more) actively engaged in Metro Denver.
- Raise the awareness of company decision makers to the business benefits of community engagement as well as the positive impact on local needs in the Metro Denver community that their company can have.
- Provide actionable information and resources to help companies develop a community involvement portfolio and effective programming that strategically leverages their resources (time, talent, dollars, products/services, etc) to positively impact local issues.
- Reduce “recreation of the wheel” and avoid common pitfalls experienced by companies implementing community involvement programs.

3. Peer Networking and Best Practice Sharing
- Create opportunities for business leaders to share their philosophy, commitment, and best practices with their peers to inspire and eliminate recreation of the wheel.
- Create stronger ties among businesses committed to making a positive contribution to the Metro Denver community.

4. Collective Impact Initiatives
- Create opportunities for companies to use their business savvy and expertise to work together and with community organizations to generate innovative solutions to local issues.
- Leverage greater impact for the Metro Denver community through collective action.

B:CIVIC is a membership organization for small, mid-size and large companies from the full range of industries that are committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community engagement. Participation in B:CIVIC will be for CEOs, CSR Directors, Corporate Foundation Directors, employee volunteer program managers, and cause marketing and public relations staff.
