Resumen de Diseño de Empaque

We are looking for a packaging concept and design (including the logo of the brand name "Derby". The dog food will initially come in cans and bags, one for adults and another for puppies. There will be a total of 4 designs to be made, all will have a similar, singular theme throughout the line so it won't be difficult to add more varieties and flavors in the future.


Canned variety- Product of Canada
Bag Variety- Product of Australia
Can is 400g and bags are 1.5kg, 3kg and 20kg


UPDATE 04/25/17
R&D (Research & Development) has withdrawn their suggestion of a window on the packaging as it might affect product quality in the tropical temperatures of our country. Therefore, please DO NOT add any windows on the packaging designs.

• An adult dog photo and a puppy photo (Breed won't matter, photo will be coming from artist); Must show a bowl of the dog food (photo unavailable at the moment but artist may use a dummy photo in the meantime); All text unavailable until the final design will be chosen

• 2 Flavors:
• 1.) Beef Flavor
• This flavor has to have a sliced steak photo; designer may choose the photo with below guidelines:
• *owned or legally purchased by designer
• *sliced steak cooked medium rare
• *sample photos may be used during presentation until design is chosen before purchasing the stock photo
• 2.) Chicken Flavor
• This flavor has to display a grilled chicken photo with the same guidelines from above.
• ** We would like to show the actual product inside in the form of a doggy bowl which will have a transparent window at the top portion for the customers to see what the product actually looks like. Some of the designs submitted have already added this in.
• To sum it up, beef and chicken flavors showing a sliced steak and grilled chicken plus a product window display in the form of a doggy bowl.
