We are looking for a two colour image of the waterfall ice and the climber. Foreground colour is white. Background colour is black. From what we have seen so far, it makes the most sense for the climber to be the background colour (black) silhouetted by the ice (white) around him. Because we intend to do this in foil on the linen front cover of the book, all parts of the illustration must have a minimum dimension of 1.5mm. That means no white thinner than 1.5mm and no black thinner than 1.5mm. This is so that the die can be cut and that the foil can transfer successfully to the linen. Thanks all for your submissions and look forward to the revisions. This will be going to print in the two weeks following selection.

Seems that the foil concept is still giving everyone a hard time. I am uploading a new file to show an example of a foil. The images you provide us will be machined into a die to be stamped onto the cover of the book. So, the best way to think about this is that it must be a stamp. One colour (white) stamped onto the background colour (black) of the book. There have been lots of great ideas, but if they don't fit this requirement, they will not work for the project. Look forward to the revisions.
