I've had a lot of really great feedback for the cover designed for No Place In Eden, and now ready to add the second cover in that series. So looking for something the same for continuity. What to keep: 1. the lovely moody, period style2. position of images and titling3. muted background colour scheme4. position and font for my name5. font for book titleWhat's new:1. remove train imagery and add steamship/liner imagery2. remove existing female model and replace with two female models. Dominant model is 20 years old, blonde, pretty. Secondary model is 23 years old, dark haired, serious.Book title: Far Side Of The OceanPeriod: 1929Short description of book: immigrant family from England sail for New Zealand for a new life.Important:The choice of female model on No Place In Eden was absolutely perfect. Right period, right social class, right atmosphere. Need the same attention to detail again.The characteristics for the two female images for Far Side Of The Ocean are: Social class: lower middle. They are not poor, nor are they travelling lowest class on the sea voyage. They have booked cabins but they are not on the upper decks with the more prominent and wealthy families.It's 1930 so just out of the era of the flappers. Both girls would be reasonably fashionable, especially the blonde. Cover blurb:With the First World War now a ten-year memory, Jim wants a new life for his family.
