Thank you for the question, I think it best not to limit your creativity... the way I see things is not as an artist nor designer. Please feel free to take you ideas as the way you see them, but the original concept should be incorporated into your final product. whether or not you consider yourself an artist, you DO know your business and your needs better than anyone here can. if you give designers too much rope, it usually just winds up wasting everyones time going in directions that may not be applicable to your needs.

here are a few things to consider. i wouldnt get too hung up on things like dimensionality (a la the "man of steel" look) for your root mark. as there will times - especially in your industry - where your logo has to be stenciled, etched or cut out of single color vinyl. something where colors, textures, gradients, etc, would be costly or simply not possible to re-create.

so, in the interest of time. could we impose on you to send direct messages when someone is nearly there or way off the mark. so they dont waste their time going down the wrong paths and you dont waste your time evaluating a bunch of misguided "rubbish" (pun intended)

can you post some group feddback about what you generally like and dont like about whats been submitted?
and if you can give a bit more direction... (or less direction) as what you originally posted was pretty darned specific. i'd bet everything's looking kind of the same.
