No particular pose - the silhouette should be the outlined image - that one may use as a logo - think the whale with Vineyard vines - the polo rider for Ralph Lauren.

I love the feel of the foxy hound character with a little more detail - similar to the puppy and the turtle. That puppy (the 3 page of your portfolio) - the one that looks like a sketch - has real potential... Perhaps play with a lab version/husky/polar bear version of that...
