Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are an Chinese online SCUBA dive gear shop (http://diveselection.cn), and our name is Dive Selection (Simplified Chinese:潜品珍选）. We have our own logo which was designed by the boss at the very beginning of his business. The logo is unprofessional for sure. Now we want to update or re-design our logo.
Since our logo has been used for several years and has impression in our customer's mind, we hope that to some extent, the new logo can inherit something from the old logo. (But not that necessary if the new design is stunning).
Our old logo consists of Text and graph. The fonts are unauthorized so we hope that the fonts be used in new logo is specifically designed (Chinese name is not a must in the logo, but we do hope a Chinese name is included in the new logo. ). The graph formed of three parts: Poseidon's trident (symbolizes that we only sell the "selected high quality dive gears"), Manta Ray's wing (symbolizes the love to ocean), and Chinese traditional wave pattern (symbolizes that we are a Chinese dive gear shop).
The image of our old logo is that Poseidon holds his trident, rides on a big manta, "flying" in the sea. Sounds cool, right? But by now nobody understand this, most of our customer just think it looks like a logo of fish shop.
We have many problems in using this logo: It is not flexible to be used in different scenarios. Sometimes we need a vertical layout and sometimes a horizontal one; some times we need graph only, sometime s we need text only while sometimes we need both graph and text.
Also the work should be cartographical.
We hope that the new logo is friendly because we are a shop based on internet. We also hope that the logo looks serious, because we are a shop provide service and products to serious divers, not recreational divers (but also not industrial divers). Our shop follows professional, not fashion.
We don't want the silhouette of diver be shown on the logo.
SCUBA dive, especially Technical dive, is kind of a niche market. We understand that many designers are not familiar with this industry, so we hope designers can spend some time to do the research.
We attached the old logo and some designs we like in dribbble for you inference.
Abstract logo style is preferred while good emblem and character logo are welcome.
