Resumen de Diseño Wordpress

I'm planning to sail around the world with a sailing katamaran in about 8 jears. Together with my best friend we want to be "on tour" for at least 10 jears (or more). I have no idea about webdesign. It should be a wordpress site. I would like to have some links like: "about us", "about the boat", if possible i woul like to show: where is the boat rigt now, links to facebook, twitter, google+ ect., an archive to list all our daily- weekly blog articles which we will send from the boat to the website...
I already tried to build a wordpress website, but its not good enough 😩.
The boat name is: KiiLee

Until i am collecting money for this trip i want to "play" with this website during my sailing-holidays (getting better in uploading block-articles, getting better in "using" my webste).
