Resumen de Diseño de Logo

The logo is for a new website/company which will be called just 'Overseas'. It will be for a property website advertising homes for sale overseas.

I have a very good idea of how I want the logo to look. I want a bold blue font and I want the logo to say 'Overseas'. I want the 'O' of the text changing so that the top (semi-circle) is the same, but the bottom half of the 'O' is replaced with 2 wavy lines to represent the Ocean/sea.

If you look at the link below, I want it to look similar to this, but the top half of the 'O' should be visible and then only 2 wavy lines at the bottom. The wavy lines should be curved at the edges to keep the full circle shape. I don't like the bottom of the 'O' in the example, so i'm open to suggestions on how it should look, but I want it to look simple, neat and tidy.

Please note however, I don't want the shutterstock icon copying and amending, I want you to design a similar one from scratch. I also want a good bold font, can either be rounded or square. I would prefer it if the font chosen had a totally round 'O' and then this actual font character is amended to make the new 'O' icon with the waves underneath, so that the font size/shape/thickness is the same as the rest of the text.

As mentioned, I want the color of the logo/text to be blue with a white background, and a version with a blue background and white font.

I will be wanting to use just the 'O' with the wavy lines as my icon for mobile devices and mobile app icons, I would want this with a blue background and white text.

If anyone has some other brilliant ideas, feel free to show them to me.
