I''d like an element of the logo to be renderable as a 50x50 icon so it can be used in a browser tab.  Maybe the motif.

I am open to the logo just being the word.  I am open to the use of gradient in the logo - it may be more attractive - but it would be good if there was a version in flat colours also that I could use when appropriate.
