Website Description:

Survival Pulse (http://survivalpulse.com) is an aggregation website for emergency preparedness and alternative news articles.

The banner ad will be placed on other related websites and the idea is to get people to come check out Survival Pulse.

Target Audience Description:

The banner should target survivalists/preppers. These are people concerned about the immediate possibility of an economic collapse or major event that could usher in a period of civil unrest, rioting, looting, or worse. They look to my website for information on getting themselves and their family more prepared for anything from personal to global disasters.

Target audience is mainly from the US.

Think Martial Law, World War 3, Electrical Grid Crash, etc.

Banner Concept:

I would like the ad to incorporate the phrase "Get Informed. Get Prepared".

I would also like the ad to illustrate a total collapse of society in some way. For some examples, military patrolling the streets, a mushroom cloud from a nuclear explosion, a SWAT team kicking in the door of a family's home, etc.

Those are just some ideas to get you going.

The ad should have sharp colors and contrasts to catch the eye.

Banner Specifics:

The full size of the banner will be 250x250px. On the bottom of the banner, I would like to have the website logo displayed with a white background. The portion you will be designing (above the logo) should NOT have a white background. See the attached image for a visual example of this.

Overall Size: 250x250px
Colors: The colors of my logo are grey(#444444) and dark red (#8B0000). I think dark red would be good for the background (see attached template). Whatever you think looks good though!
Fonts: Match the style of font used in my logo.
