Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are starting a publishing company!
Whilst small, the author's name is already highly regarded in the publishing realm (look it up in google if you'd like). The key aims of our publishing company are to Engage, inspire and create for educational publishing resources. Our primary products will be educational resources.
The name originates from Latvia, so the colour scheme will need a maroon and white concept. We do have some accent colours that will be used in addition to the primary colours to help with creativity as well as additional features within our texts.
Simplicity and formality would be a strength, but don't let this detract from a 'ohh ahh' concept. I'll leave this to you, the designer to come up with the concept.
I'll provide a pallet of colours that we are going to use.
