do you want the same icons (from the old design) in the new design
or it doesn't matter as long as they represent the idea?

Some of the icons are official ones, so they should be respected (like the Alfresco logo).
We also did buy a library of icons.
Some would be appropriate to use, I think, and for some you can make up better ones.
