Resumen de Diseño de Logo

looking for a strong, easily distinguishable, stand alone logo for a world renowned horse trainer.
Jim Anderson trains through natural horsemanship methods and then takes the horses into 'the real world'- competing at national and international events, he's well liked and well respected for his ability to handle horses. His groundwork program involves liberty work, so looking for the logo to convey a bit of softness, as well.

the ranch already has a brand, Star Bar Ranch, which consists of a 6 point star with a straight bar underneath. the horses, as well as equipment are branded with the brand, but the star is often mistaken for the Star of David, which wouldn't be so bad if Jim was actually Jewish (which he isn't.. ha)
I'd like to build upon and revise the Star Bar brand- maybe by putting initials in the star, or by incorporating a horse in the logo somehow, revising the star, etc.

The business used to be known as Jimmy Anderson Horsemanship, but I'd like to move away from that and incorporate "Higher Horsemanship | Jim Anderson" or that sort of idea.

The finished logo should be able to stand alone without lettering or wording, but also be able to have the descriptive words/names as well- ideally i would love to have the logo all alone on a hat or a jacket and have ppl know exactly what it was, without descriptors/words if they weren't on there.
