What is drawn above the " W " in picture ?

It's just a symbol. In the United States people often brand cattle or horses to show ownership. This is my family's brand from years ago when we owned horses, so it's a symbol that is sort of supposed to look like a crown. Does that make sense?

I'm really impressed with some of the designs. However, I'd like to reiterate that the brand that I uploaded on the initial overview really does need to be incorporated into the design. The ones that have been submitted without incorporating that are really nice, but I really do want that brand to be a part of the logo. I just can't consider any of them that don't incorporate it.
