Resumen de Diseño Con Ícono

Verbal Earth is a language learning website and app. We need a suite of icons/images to convey meaning and add an interesting visual feel. We’re open to the style and theme for the project, and encourage creative input. (e.g. In the current working prototype were working with open source farming themed icons - see below). The icons will be seen on the website, and at various stages of a lesson, which is designed to be gamelike. (See Duolingo or Babbel for examples)

Icons to convey the following meanings are needed:

1. Information (when giving hints, or other information)
2. Warning (e.g. about to lose lesson progress!)
3. Upgrade (invitation to register with email or upgrade)
4. Patience (shown when learning makes mistakes, should be encouraging)
5. Lesson done - victory!
6. Progress (informing learner of progress)

• Icons should be large (at least 1024x1024) so they can be scaled down to smaller sizes. Color scheme should be simple, with each color in it’s own layer so that color can be changed to match theme colors for the website/app. All icons should roughly fit in a square (roughly the same height/width). PSD format.
