Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am requesting design for Logo for a cardiology private practice based in the suburbs of Melbourne in Australia.

I am an interventional caridologist who specialises in coronary angiograms and stenting. I look after patients with coronary artery disease predominantly.

I am also an associate professor who does research at Monash University, and a consultant at Monash Medical Centre

Attached are 2 files showing the general look and feel I am after (including font) but really I welcome any designs. I am a Doctor and not a designer, so I am open to your suggestions but more importantly ORIGINAL and UNIQUE designs. I already selected a winner and discovered that the design was a direct copy from a medical website. Please do NOT copy the logo from somewhere else.

The winner of this contest will do the business card design.

As for the design, I was hoping that it will be in landscape, not portrait orientation. I know there is already a lot of information, but I would prefer things not being too crowded, please allow for spacing.

Requisitos

Debes tener

• It has to be professional, contemporary and clean
• I want a simple logo, and accompanying words "Glen Iris Cardiology"
• I am marketing to the local general practitioners, and the local area - a middle class area, in the suburbs of melbourne.

Agradable de tener

• For the text - I will consider traditional capitalisation alternatively Large caps in the first letter, with small caps for the rest.
• I was hoping that the words glen iris and cardiology have slightly different color (similar to the example of Hartwell dentistry I have included below)
• Nice to have simplistic, minimalistic designs, rather than complicated and fancy designs. There will be a large sign outside my practice, which is on a very busy road, I want to passer by people in their cars to clearly know there is a personalised, modern, clean local cardiologist in their area.

No debería tener

• Should not be plagiarised design
• No scripted or italics, or comical text.
• I don't like crowded, complicated design.
• I don't like logos with peoples, or figure heads, or waving arms
• I work at Monash Heart- my logo should NOT be like Monash Heart logo
