Resumen de Diseño de Logo

West Coast Chronic Clothing is Canada’s first and only surf/skate/ski brand that cross-promotes to the recreational cannabis user lifestyle.

Marijuana has slowly become a widely accepted drug for medicinal purposes, with growing acceptance for recreational use as a controlled substance. In July 2018, Canada is expected to become the first G7 nation to federally legalize marijuana and allow the legal possession, sale, transport and cultivation throughout the country. Once this happens, Canada will become a national hub for cannabis cultivation and users alike, with the product being available over the counter to consumers over the age of majority (subject to provincial variances). Prime Minster Justice Trudeau has also promised to make recreational marijuana available by mail order and offered by the Federal Government, to service small or rural communities, without access to retail shops.

The Canadian West Coast is a popular ski and surf destination for tourists, and already has a culture synonymous with liberal drug use. Together, with the legalization of marijuana, the ski/skate/surf/smoke culture will explode.

The West Coast Chronic brand will embody the ski/skate/surf/smoke culture that the West Coast has become known for.

I would like the iconography to be non-traditional...not simply marijuana leafs - and simple and distinct as it will be printed on articles of clothing and apparel.

I am also open to using the tagline ski.skate.surf.smoke.

Requisitos

Debes tener

• Clean image that can be put on plain coloured t-shirts, hats, etc. The underlying pot/weed identity should be subtle.
• I also think that the logo needs to be able to stand alone from the word mark if necessary. So it needs a clear/distinct image to associate with the brand.

Agradable de tener

• Perhaps look to incorporate the idea of mountains, waves and smoke. It can certainly be abstract or more literal - but something that gives a more distinct brand.

• Generic pot/weed/marijuana images.
