Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for a new gene therapy company that is a spin-out of Oxford BioMedica. OcQuila will focus on the clinical development of gene therapies for devastating eye diseases. I've attached our investor flyer so you can understand what the company is about--the colors/design elements were done by me (the CEO, I'm a scientist..), so please don't feel obligated to use them! An eye, abstract or otherwise, should be incorporated into the logo somehow and perhaps a globe as the iris, something to indicate that we are addressing global health needs (just a thought). We're open to different color palettes--biotechs, for some reason, tend to use blue as the central color. I'd stay away from reds and yellows ("red/yellow" and "eye" = "not good"). Logo should not be playful, although a modern design would be a good demarcation from the well-established parent company. Please no double-helices, that's a belabored trope for gene therapy companies. Oxford BioMedica and Novartis were recently granted approval for a cancer drug for kids--the very first cell/gene therapy approved by the FDA, so it would be good if the logo projected that kind of large Pharma confidence--basically, we're a new company, but we're all veterans at this game and we're a subsidiary of a tremendously successful biotech.
