Resumen de Diseño de Logo

GTA Training Inc. is seeking to refresh or redesign its existing logo, reflecting its business as a basketball training organization. The company’s identity rests on maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, and a focus on encouraging determination. We are looking for an updated modern look and feel that will reflect our Canadian identity and our passion for the sport of basketball, and be clean and emphatic. A desirable colour element to us is: “Carolina Blue”* or the blue used by Columbia University** (either the lighter, Pantone-290 or darker blue P-286) with whatever contrasting colours designers feel are desirable and appropriate. We have no particular preference for font/text style.

We would also like a second logo adapted from the first one, for the GTA Lakers basketball team to use on its uniforms, gear, etc., with the anticipation being that it would be the same graphic but with the text element modified appropriately.

While we are primarily interested in a “makeover” of our existing logo(s) GTA Training, and GTA Lakers , we will consider new logos designed entirely from scratch. In revising the existing logo(s) we’d be interested in seeing how it might be simplified, for example, by making the shape of the ball be ‘inferred’ from its design elements, rather than discretely outlined. In all cases, we feel that limiting the number of colours or colour gradients, ought to simplify application of the logo to T-Shirts, uniforms, and other gear.

Logos will be used on company merchandise, team uniforms, and web sites and social media.
