Daniel, thanks for your interest. As we shouldn't have too many elements, I think it is more important to represent wave and wind rather than electricity. Re your question of minimalist vs classic, I am inclined to the classic route as many of the target audience will be relatively conservative engineers/business people. By the way, the target audience is more likely (but not exclusively) to be older i.e 40+, and male.
