Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We are looking for a new logo, mascot and slogan. We will be making small dollar unsecured loans for 5-30 days to working class Filipinos with or without a bank account. Open to any and all ideas. We are trying to walk a fine line between professional and cartoon-y. As a lender, we need to keep our logo, mascot and slogan professional. However, we know the Filipino market likes bold colors and mascots. So, we are looking for the perfect combination of the two. Filipinos are a very proud people, so something that appeals to their cultural heritage and pride would definitely work and be preferred. We will be lending money via an Android smartphone app to banked and non-banked customers who can get their cash via multiple delivery channels just about anywhere. We aim to be fast, convenient and reliable so those kind of elements in the design would be helpful too. Be as creative as possible. Thanks!!!

We are grappling with the designs being simple v. cartoon-y. As a lender, we need to display a professional image. At the same time, we understand from our work in the Philippines that they like bold colors, mascots and slogans - at least for non-professional retail, restaurants, etc. So, it's a fine line that we are trying to walk between the two. We've looked at the top 20 logos from the Philippines and most are still professional even if colorful, etc. You can look at some of them online including Sun Cellular, Cebu Pacific, etc.. Although not necessarily great, you can also look at Globe, Smart and Meralco. You can look at some of our potential competitors. Although I'm not sure any of their logos are great either, it may at least give you a basis to compare your design to others in the market. They are easycash..ph, loanranger.ph, moolalending.ph, tala.ph and pera247.ph. We will be a digital lender using an Android phone app. So, the idea of using the phone and/or money in (not the $ since we'll be lending in PHP) our logo, mascot may also be appealing. We've done some polling and are getting all kinds of opinions in terms of likes/dislikes. There is no clear winner yet. So, put on your thinking caps and please see how creative you can get. We are anxoius to see some great new designs! Thanks again for your participation in our project!!!
