Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need an elegant logo for our product, "Mallee Salt" to go on the label of the product. This is a small family business, all salt is hand-harvested and hand-packed.
The owner is very personally invested in the product and his initial labels speak to the Mallee region with beautiful landscapes. His words:
I am passionate that the logo represents, says, describes, the natural beauty, the harshness, the big sky’s, the timelessness of the environment from which we harvest the salt.
I don't own any photos of the landscape so please google Mallee Salt Lakes, Australia, for inspiration.

We are very inspired by the region and this needs to be acknowledged in our branding.
However, while some customers will be attracted by the outback Australia uniqueness of the product, we need to also capture the gourmet foodie market, who care less about the origin and more about the taste and trying different salts from around the world. Therefore the logo should be reverent to the landscape but elegant enough to scream 'expensive' for gourmet food sellers.
The salt is a pale pink. Pale pink should feature in the logo.
